From Shanghai to Johannesburg, via New York and Singapore, Whisky Live is the international tasting event that brings the world’s major capitals to life throughout the year!
Since 2004, Whisky Live Paris has grown and expanded every year, attracting more and more exhibitors from all over the world, as well as visitors with a passion for malt, rum, all types of fine spirits and mixology. Today Whisky Live Paris is unquestionably the largest whisky and spirits tasting event in Europe and many distilleries use the opportunity to reveal their new releases in world exclusives!
Covering 4,000m2, two mezzanines and a selection of vast outdoor areas… this year Whisky Live will be held in Paris’ largest cultural center, the Grande Halle at La Villette, on October 5-7, 2019. A new location chosen to match the event’s growing ambitions!
Whisky Live Paris is the key event of the year for discovering hundreds of new products, including lots of world exclusives.
And because new distilleries open every year throughout the world, with producers innovating, developing new products, and experimenting with surprising and inventive blends, aging techniques and finishes, creativity will be at the heart of Whisky Live Paris 2019!
The VIP area is the place-to-be for fans of exceptional whiskies and fine spirits. This 350m2 mezzanine overlooking the tasting hall will host hundreds of prestigious new releases, single casks and limited editions, as well as a huge number of independent bottlings…
Bolstered by the success of its inaugural edition, the Rum Gallery will be back in its very own area spanning 1,000m2.
This space dedicated entirely to rum, next to the tasting hall, will offer a unique journey of discovery and tasting. A masterclass hall dedicated to the category will also offer visitors the chance to meet and talk with key figures in the rum industry.
Launched in 2017, the Forum will hold 30-minute masterclasses throughout the event, with household names in fine spirits (master distillers, master blenders, distillery directors, writers, etc.) sharing their expertise and secrets.
Free to all visitors, the Forum is a superb opportunity to share experiences and meet fellow enthusiasts
The Golden Promise Bar offers tasting of a densely packed collection of rare and old whiskies.
It will be set up in the center of the event and offer its entire menu. Here visitors will be able to enjoy a dram chosen from hundreds of whiskies, including some very rare products from the 60s and 70s.
After three highly successful editions, and more than 18,000 visitors and 23,000 cocktails served in 2018, Cocktail Street will be back again in 2019!
With prestigious names from around the world and an explosive program, visitors will once again this year be able to enjoy this now essential mixology and food event!
All of the cocktail bars will be publicized and promoted, with the various brands offering their own creations and one bar from abroad being entirely recreated just a few meters from Whisky Live Paris, opposite the Parc de la Villette! DJs will play throughout the event for guaranteed atmosphere!
On the second 200m2 mezzanine overlooking the tasting hall, the LMDW store will be a key stop-off point for all visitors to Whisky Live.
Whiskies and spirits will each have their own special area. A great opportunity for enthusiasts to get their hands on a huge selection of products found in the tasting hall.
Set in the heart of Paris’ largest urban garden, this incredible landmark will welcome visitors from the trade and general public over three days, with a host of great surprises! This 19th century monument is today a true hub for the capital’s culture and receives 10 million visitors every year. From art performances to original shows, and educational workshops, La Villette is an essential destination for unique experiences!

Built in 1907 by the architect Georges Morin-Goustiaux, it was at the time one of the first reinforced concrete constructions in Paris. Transformed as of 2000 by the architecture agency JAKOB + MACFARLANE the building becomes an open place, a place of life, a true concentrate of creations and inspirations in Paris.
